Nexr is Now – TML showcases buses and trucks complaint with Euro 6
In October 2025, a major milestone was achieved in the Middle East commercial-vehicle market when Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles (TMCV) unveiled its Euro 6-compliant range for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) / Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region at a launch event in Dubai.
Held in Dubai, the event marked what the company described as its largest product showcase in the region to date.
The initiative aligns strongly with the local regulatory environment: for example, the UAE has issued guidelines stating that from 1 January 2026, new light and heavy-vehicle imports must comply with at least Euro 6B emission limits.
At the Dubai event, Tata Motors revealed a wide product spread spanning both passenger- and cargo-mobility solutions, all built or adapted to meet Euro 6 emissions standards.
Highlights include:
- For passenger transport: models such as the Starbus Prime LP 716 (28-seater bus) and Ultra LPO 916 (33-seater) built for staff/school transport, featuring modern engine tech, safety systems like ABS, ESC and hill-start assist.
- For cargo/logistics: the Ultra range of smart trucks (7-19 tonne), the Prima 3430.T (6.7 L engine, 300 HP / 1100 Nm torque) designed for long-haul; also heavy-duty tipper variants (Prima 3330.K) for construction/mining.
- After-sales & service support: an expanded network of service centres, extended warranty options and annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) tailored for region operations.
By introducing this range, Tata Motors is signalling its commitment to the region’s evolving mobility / infrastructure demands — especially as cities like Dubai scale up logistics, construction and public-transport fleets.
